Terapiapalvelut

Terapiapalvelut Kaukua is an occupational therapy practice serving children, young people and adults in the Oulu area. The practice aims to support health, wellbeing and participation in everyday life, helping clients engage in activities that matter to them at home, school, work and during leisure time. Therapy is tailored to each person and may focus on areas such as daily functioning, hand skills, recovery and mental wellbeing. Services can be delivered individually, in pairs, groups or community settings, with attention to the client’s needs, autonomy and environment.

The therapist has nearly ten years of experience in outpatient occupational therapy, including work with people with intellectual disabilities, adults with neurological conditions, children and adolescents. Further qualifications include training in psychophysical occupational therapy and relaxation guidance for children and young people, as well as a master’s-level degree in social and health care development and leadership. The practice welcomes clients of all ages at its premises near central Oulu.
