Terapitrio

Terapitrio is a therapy group providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy and equine-assisted therapy for children, young people and adults. Its services focus on supporting participation, independence and a meaningful everyday life, with treatment planned around each client’s needs, interests and rehabilitation goals. Therapists work collaboratively with clients, families and relevant people in their surroundings, including schools and workplaces.

Physiotherapy is available at the clinic, in clients’ homes, schools, workplaces or day-care settings, and in water. Terapitrio’s physiotherapists have specialist training in neurological rehabilitation using the NDT/Bobath approach. Care may include individually tailored activities, functional training and help selecting everyday aids.

Occupational therapy supports people who face difficulties with daily tasks, play, education, work or leisure because of injury, illness, disability or changes in life circumstances. Therapists provide training, practical strategies, environmental guidance and assistance in identifying physical or cognitive aids.

Equine-assisted therapy is delivered by a trained riding therapist together with a horse and is individually planned as part of rehabilitation. It may support movement, functional ability and psychological well-being.
