GÉANT is a European research and education networking organisation that creates digital infrastructure for research, education, and innovation. Its association brings together 43 National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), working with European institutions, global partners, and the research and education community. With a purpose-driven, collaborative approach, GÉANT supports knowledge sharing and scientific discovery across Europe and beyond.

Its services include the pan-European GÉANT network, which connects NRENs through secure, resilient, high-capacity connectivity, as well as intercontinental connections and network operations. GÉANT also develops identity and access management services, including eduroam for global Wi-Fi access and platforms such as eduGAIN, MyAccessID, and eduTEAMS. Its security offerings include products, training, awareness initiatives, and a Security Operations Centre.

Through projects and programmes, GÉANT supports European supercomputing connectivity, open science identity services, cloud access via the OCRE framework, and innovation in areas such as AI and quantum computing. It also provides community programmes, learning and development, events, and opportunities for collaboration.
