This association, founded in 1997, specializes in training people and dogs for water rescue and promoting activities with the Newfoundland dog. Based at the Ponteil nautical center in Antibes, France, it brings together a qualified, dynamic teaching team and offers courses for different goals and experience levels. Leisure training provides relaxed, playful exercises on land and in the water for dogs and their families.
Operational training prepares human-dog teams for aquatic rescue, while sporting sessions develop skills for water-work competitions under the CUNSE, the National Water Rescue Working Commission. The association is affiliated with the Société Centrale Canine and has been affiliated with the CUNSE since 2022. Its activities connect with local events and organizations, including the SNSM and first-aid and assistance groups.
It also works alongside partners in canine equipment, animal care, grooming, massage and water-work training. Through its courses, events and community network, the association supports practical skills, recreation and sporting participation, while sharing information about the Newfoundland breed and its work
