Domaine du Taennchel is a family-run Newfoundland dog breeder based in Alsace, in France’s Grand Est region. Dedicated to the breed since 2004, the kennel raises Newfoundland dogs in a family environment and is registered with the Livre des Origines Françaises. Its approach emphasizes health, responsible breeding and DNA traceability, with the aim of producing healthy, well-bred puppies.

The kennel presents its male and female dogs, as well as information about planned matings and births, and invites prospective owners to visit and take time to learn about the responsibilities of adopting a puppy. Domaine du Taennchel also grooms its own dogs and shares its experience through advice and training. The breeders participate in canine exhibitions, which they see as recognition of their work.

They welcome questions by phone or email and aim to remain available to puppy owners beyond adoption. With a long-standing passion for Newfoundland dogs, Domaine du Taennchel combines breeding, care and guidance for people interested in welcoming one of these dogs into their lives
