Terri's Ladder

Terri’s Ladder is a recreational sports league serving players in Charlotte, with flexible programs for both tennis and pickleball. Founded in 2013 as Terri’s Tennis Ladder, the organization was created to complement other tennis leagues and give players more freedom in how they participate. It now offers four seasons each year, and its ladder format lets members choose how often to play, when to schedule games, and where to meet, based on what is convenient for them.

The league has grown substantially, with some seasons attracting nearly 2,000 players. Participants can register online and find practical resources, including rules, player ratings, point calculators, frequently asked questions, calendars, and pickleball location information. Terri’s Ladder also holds a playoff tournament at the end of the season, giving players an opportunity to cap off their league play with a competitive event.

By expanding from tennis to pickleball, the organization brings its flexible, player-friendly approach to a wider community of local sports enthusiasts
