About Territorio De Zaguates
Welcome to Land of the Strays, the largest no-kill shelter in the world! For the past 15 years, we have been dedicated to rescuing and neutering thousands of stray dogs in Costa Rica. Currently, we provide a loving home for more than 1800 dogs who are searching for their forever families. Our mission is to give each and every animal a second chance at a happy and fulfilling life.
At Land of the Strays, we help our dogs get adopted and accept them into our pack until they find their perfect match. Our dogs come in all shapes, sizes, and ages, from playful puppies to happy seniors. Each one is unique and special to us.
