Sukuseura Tervo-Tervonen ry is a Finnish family association founded in Paltamo in August 1984 to connect members of the Tervo and Tervonen families. Its work focuses on researching the families’ history, preserving their traditions, honouring previous generations and strengthening ties among relatives. Membership is open to people aged 15 or over who belong to the families through either parent, as well as people connected through marriage. Children under 15 may join as youth members without a membership fee, and individuals or eligible organisations may become supporting members.
The association brings family members together through annual gatherings, meetings and social activities. It shares research and news in Tervakset, its family magazine, and maintains a photo archive. Members and visitors can also find information about the association’s governance, plans, reports and privacy practices. The association offers its own merchandise, with sales promoted at family events, and invites members to contribute story ideas and articles for the magazine.
