About TESS
TESS, short for Teso Educational Support Services, is a UK registered charity that has been dedicated to helping young people in Teso, Uganda, learn for life. Founded as a sponsorship program to support education in the region, TESS has made a significant impact on the lives of hundreds of young individuals who may not have had the opportunity to continue their education otherwise.
As TESS embarks on a new chapter, the organization has decided to close as a charity, allowing the community in Teso and the TESS alumni to take the lead in determining the best way to continue supporting young people in the area. The alumni have formed the Teso Educational Support Services Alumni Association (TESSAA), committing to paying it forward and supporting the success of others.
