Teta w Jeddo | Beirut is an association dedicated to supporting Lebanese families in need. Their mission started after the devastating explosion at the port of Beirut in August 2020, with the initial goal of helping those most affected by the accident. However, as the economic crisis in Lebanon worsened, their support expanded to include not only the elderly but also struggling families.

Currently, Teta w Jeddo provides material aid to 150 individuals each month through various means. They offer daily deliveries of traditional hot meals, as well as weekly or monthly food packages tailored to the specific needs and level of autonomy of the recipients. Additionally, they provide financial assistance for medical expenses, including medications and surgeries, and occasionally undertake home improvement projects.

To maintain a strong connection with the families they assist and assess their ongoing needs, Teta w Jeddo conducts regular home visits. Their dedicated volunteers also distribute weekly food parcels to families or daily hot meals prepared by a local restaurant called Sandy snacks.
