TetherX

TetherX provides an open cloud video management system (Cloud VMS) that brings compatible cameras, alarms and access control together in one platform. Designed for organisations managing one or many sites, it helps teams find and share footage, review events, monitor equipment health and coordinate responses through a single app. The platform supports more than 1,000 integrations, including ONVIF-compatible cameras, and can work with existing equipment to avoid unnecessary replacement.

A TetherBox at each site records video locally and connects it to TetherX; cloud backup options let customers choose which recordings to store off-site. Features include multi-camera viewing, health reports, person and vehicle detection, audio analytics, and integrations with alarm-receiving centres and access systems. TetherX serves sectors such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, housing, construction, logistics and commercial property.

Systems are specified, installed and supported by accredited local security partners, who also help confirm equipment compatibility and configure services. TetherX also offers partner training and certification, onboarding resources, technical support, and solutions for control rooms and multi-site security operations
