TEUKROS

TEUKROS is an archery club in Varnsdorf, Czechia, bringing together enthusiasts of traditional archery from the town and surrounding area. The association has practised and supported traditional archery for more than five years, focusing on shooting without sights or other aids. Its activities encompass instinctive, historical, combat, hunting and meditative archery, with an emphasis on safe equipment handling.

Beginners can arrange a session to try a bow or crossbow, and children from age eight, young people and adults are welcome. The club provides instruction, lends basic equipment and offers gift vouchers for individual lessons. Visitors with their own equipment can use the club’s enclosed range, which accommodates several shooting styles and distances of up to 50 metres.

TEUKROS also runs regular training sessions and organizes or supports tournaments. Its archery demonstrations are available for team-building events, corporate functions, town celebrations and children’s days, with arrangements and fees agreed individually. Those wishing to participate regularly can apply for club membership, which offers reduced training prices and information about activities and competitions
