Van Sleen Training & Innovatie is a specialist in the healthcare sector, focused on effective communication, learning and organisational development. Led by Tineke van Sleen, the practice helps professionals, volunteers, family members and informal caregivers better understand and communicate with people living with dementia. Its training and guidance address the language, speech and comprehension challenges associated with dementia, offering practical ways to adapt communication and build more positive contact.

Services include workshops, training sessions, lectures, coaching and counselling, as well as coaching on the job. By using real workplace situations as learning opportunities, this approach supports greater awareness of behaviour, skills, values and beliefs. Van Sleen Training & Innovatie also works with organisations and teams on collaboration, new procedures and work processes, improvement initiatives and quality management. Coaching can be delivered online, by telephone, email or through a blended format. Tineke van Sleen is a certified Dementia Interpreter and is also developing her work as an online trainer on the Dutch Care and Coercion Act.
