Tewa Training Centre offers practical, hands-on courses in Food Production, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Bakery—designed to equip young women with the skills they need to thrive in Kenya’s hospitality industry. Based in Kilifi County, we provide 3 to 6-month training programs, including job attachments, to prepare students for real opportunities in hotels, lodges, and private homes. At Tewa, we believe that skills open doors—and every young woman deserves a chance.

About Tewa Training Centre
Tewa Training Centre is a modern hospitality training center located in Kuruwitu-Kilifi county, established by the Kianda Foundation and managed by the NURISHA Trust. With a focus on low-income and marginalized young women, our goal is to provide market-oriented skills for employment, meeting international standards. As a registered TVET institution, we offer KNEC examinations and affordable courses in Catering Accommodation, emphasizing job readiness and quality education.
Our experienced instructors use modern equipment to impart cutting-edge skills in Housekeeping and Culinary arts, with job placement support for graduates. We also conduct outreach programs to promote entrepreneurship and improve living standards. Partnering with local and international donors, Tewa Training Centre welcomes support to empower our community.
