Texas Center for Bariatrics & Advanced Surgery is a bariatric and general surgery practice serving patients through four Texas locations in Plano, Arlington, Dallas, and North Richland Hills. Led by award-winning, board-certified surgeons Dr. A. Joseph Cribbins and Dr. Chen, the practice focuses on compassionate, personalized care and helps patients explore options for weight management and improved health.

Services include bariatric procedures such as SADI-S, gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, duodenal switch, LAP-BAND, and revision surgery, alongside nonsurgical medical weight-loss treatments and FDA-approved medications. The team also provides hernia surgery and develops treatment plans around each patient’s health history and goals. Dr. Cribbins has used the da Vinci surgical system for weight-loss surgery since 2012, and the practice emphasizes minimally invasive care and ongoing follow-up.
