Texas Field Archery

The Texas Field Archery Association (TFAA) supports field archery in Texas through tournaments, information, and resources for archers, clubs, pro shops, and scorers. Its events include indoor and outdoor SYWAT competitions, state and sectional tournaments, state championships, 900-round and known 3D events, and NFAA field formats. The association publishes schedules, standings, results, divisions and age-group details, tournament records, and forms, as well as information about clubs, pro shops, and Hall of Fame inductees.

TFAA’s SYWAT indoor season includes individual awards for eligible archers who place first, second, or third across the required number of separate events. The association also offers a youth scholarship and provides guidance on age divisions; archers must be at least eight years old to compete in a TFAA event. Other resources include membership information, a newsletter, and contact channels for questions. Listed SYWAT fees are $30 per round for adult categories and $25 for cub, youth, and young adult categories, with a $75 maximum per family.
