Texas Lions Basketball

Texas Lions is a competitive homeschool sports program serving families across Greater Austin, Texas. Its primary offering is basketball, with boys’ and girls’ teams for players from 10U through 18U. The program brings together athletes from homeschool communities and competes against public, private, and other homeschool teams around Central Texas. Teams also participate in homeschool basketball championships, including district competition in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, the Big South Regional, and national championships in Springfield, Missouri.

Launched in 2023, Texas Lions aims to build a strong Christian homeschool basketball program through competitive play, strategic player development, and faith-based mentorship. The organization describes its guiding values as leadership, courage, tenacity, and boldness, and seeks to help young athletes grow both on and off the court. The website also features volleyball schedules and social channels, reflecting the organization’s volleyball presence alongside basketball. Families can find program information, schedules, locations, parent resources, and team updates through the Texas Lions website. The organization is based in Liberty Hill, Texas, and serves the wider Austin region.
