Texas Racks and Quacks

Texas Racks & Quacks is a hunting, fishing, and lodge destination at the Ellisor Ranch in East Texas, where the Trinity River bottomlands provide habitat for a range of wildlife. Owned by Dr. Glenn Ellisor and his wife, Clairice, the ranch has undergone wildlife management and accommodation improvements, including food plots, year-round protein feeding, and a 10,000-square-foot lodge offering meals and lodging.

The ranch offers guided whitetail deer hunts, with a season described as running from September 30 through February 28 under its MLD program. Hog hunts are available by day or night, using thermal and night-vision equipment. Duck hunts take advantage of the Trinity River flyway, with opportunities to pursue wood ducks, gadwalls, and other species. Fishing experiences are offered on a nine-acre lake stocked with Florida-strain largemouth bass, hybrid bluegill, and striped bass; guide services can be arranged on request. Fishing is also included with deer and hog packages. Texas Racks & Quacks provides organized packages with accommodations, meals, and guide services, alongside fishing-only trips.
