Texas Sun Motor Academy is a family-owned motorcycle training school based in Paris, Texas, serving North Texas, East Texas, and nearby communities. Contracted with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the academy provides instruction aligned with requirements approved by the DPS Motorcycle Safety Unit and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Courses include beginner training for people with no prior riding experience, as well as options for experienced riders seeking a motorcycle endorsement or license waiver. The Basic Rider Course and EP1 beginner course are designed to teach foundational skills and help eligible students work toward an endorsement. The EP2 course serves experienced riders who need to obtain or renew their endorsement; it is a one-day class, and participants may bring their own motorcycle or contact the academy about using one. Course fees vary, and separate online e-course fees may apply.
