TEXTE ZUR KUNST steht für kontroverse Diskussionen und Beiträge international führender Autor/innen über zeitgenössische Kunst und Kultur. Neben grundlegenden Essays bietet die 1990 in Köln von Stefan Germer (†) und Isabelle Graw gegründete und seit 2000 vierteljährlich in Berlin publizierte Zeitschrift Interviews, Gesprächsrunden und ausführliche Besprechungen zu Kunst, Film, Musik, Markt und Mode ebenso wie zu Kunstgeschichte, Theorie und Kulturpolitik. Seit 2006 erscheinen der umfangreiche, jeweils einem spezifischen Thema gewidmete Hauptteil sowie ausgewählte Besprechungen in Deutsch und Englisch. In jeder Ausgabe wird die Zeitschrift von international renommierten Künstler/innen mit exklusiven Editionen unterstützt. About TEXTE ZUR KUNST
TEXTE ZUR KUNST is an international journal of contemporary art and culture, founded in Cologne in 1990 by Stefan Germer and Isabelle Graw and published quarterly in Berlin since 2000. Known for fostering controversial discussion, it brings together leading international writers to examine art and culture through essays, interviews, conversations, and in-depth reviews. Its coverage ranges across contemporary art, film, music, the art market, fashion, art history, theory, and cultural policy.
Since 2006, each issue has featured an extensive thematic section, with selected reviews, published in both German and English. The journal also presents current criticism and cultural commentary through its website and digital archive. Each print issue is supported by exclusive artists’ editions created by internationally renowned artists.
