Fabricademy is a multidisciplinary 6-month intensive program that combines textiles, technology, and biology. As a Textile and Technology academy, Fabricademy aims to (re)shape and (re)define the implications and applications of technology in the textile and clothing industry. The program offers a comprehensive overview of the current industry, focusing on themes such as personal fabrication, distributed manufacturing, industry 4.

0, wearable technology, biofabrication, assistive technologies, and sustainability. The program consists of two phases. The first phase involves hands-on masterclasses where students develop knowledge of prominent technologies and experiment with advanced prototyping tools, innovative materials, and manufacturing techniques.

In the second phase, participants focus on developing a mature personal project that explores and implements more viable, sustainable, and fair alternative systems in the textile and fashion industry. Fabricademy offers various specialized packages, including Sustainability, Industry 4. 0, Wearable Technology, and Innovation Narratives.

Each package combines theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on learning to empower participants to become pioneers in their respective fields. The program welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds, ages, and professions. Upon completion, participants can pursue careers in body architecture, material development, fashion technology consulting, digital crafts, and more.
