Tagesfamilien Zürichsee Oberland (TFZO) is a nonprofit organization providing family-based childcare in the Zürichsee Oberland region. For more than 20 years, it has connected families with qualified childcare providers and worked closely with local municipalities to support dependable, welcoming care close to home. Its service helps parents find a suitable Tagesfamilie, where children are cared for in a small group by a consistent adult, with attention to individual needs and development.
Flexible care times can fit different family routines, while children benefit from a familiar, family-like setting. TFZO also supports people who wish to become childcare providers, offering information about the role, a pathway to apply, foundational training, and an annual educational program. The organization provides guidance and professional support for Tagesfamilien, alongside information for parents and municipalities.
Its work is grounded in child wellbeing, reliable relationships, and quality standards. Families can enquire about available places and register their children through TFZO, while individuals and communities can access resources, contact the team, or contribute through donations
