About TGEU
TGEU, also known as Transgender Europe e. V., is a brand that envisions a Europe and Central Asia free from discrimination, where individuals can live according to their gender identity and expression without interference. With a mission to strengthen the rights and wellbeing of trans people, TGEU represents the diverse needs of its members within human rights mechanisms.
They work tirelessly to build the capacity and skills of their members, develop intersectional and decolonized programs, and connect trans movements in order to meet the needs of local communities. TGEU values kindness, trust, safety, appreciation, and cooperation, and strives to celebrate the resilience and diversity within the trans community. As a member-based organization established since 2005, TGEU has become a legitimate voice for the trans community with over 200 member organizations in 48 different countries.
