Transgender Guide

TGGuide is an online community and information resource serving transgender people and their supporters since 1996. It welcomes transgender, nonbinary, gender-questioning, intersex, and crossdressing people, as well as allies, partners, and caring professionals. The site says its community has brought together hundreds of thousands of people and includes more than 17,500 chat members.

Members can connect through profiles, social networking, forums, blogs, photo galleries, and live chat. Chat options include non-adult peer support and adult rooms, helping members find spaces suited to their interests. TGGuide also offers a broad library of articles and practical resources covering coming out, relationships and dating, family support, gender identity, clothing and makeup, voice training, safety, and transition-related topics. Additional resources include a transgender glossary, videos, personal stories, interviews, news, and information about support groups, therapists, and surgeons.

The site also publishes Trans Rights Watch, monitoring policy and legislative developments affecting transgender rights and sharing actions people can take. TGGuide aims to represent the community positively and provide opportunities to find information, support, and friendship.
