Thalia Hall is a historic landmark located in the vibrant Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. Founded by John Dusek at the turn of the century, this neighborhood establishment has a rich history rooted in community and the arts. Dusek's vision was to create a public hall where arts and entertainment from Bohemia could flourish for his fellow bohemian neighbors.

Architects Faber & Pagel designed Thalia Hall to resemble the Prague opera house, showcasing its ornate beauty. Over the years, this multi-purpose property has been a hub for entertainment, central meetings, and even played a significant role in the birth of Czechoslovakia. In 2013, Thalia Hall underwent renovations and unveiled three new concepts: Dusek's Tavern, a charming corner tavern offering flavorful fare and classic beverages; Tack Room, a cozy cocktail bar with a view of Pilsen and live piano entertainment; and Punch House, a basement bar celebrating the history and craftsmanship of communal punches.

Thalia Hall's owners, Bruce Finkelman and Craig Golden, are dedicated to preserving the hall's original charm while bringing a diverse range of music, community, and artistic events to this cherished neighborhood treasure.
