The Key Marburg is a real-life escape game provider based in Marburg, Germany, offering immersive adventures for friends, families, colleagues and groups. Players can choose from four indoor escape-room scenarios, where they work together to uncover clues, solve puzzles and complete a mission within one hour. The rooms feature detailed storytelling, interactive mechanisms and a game master who provides guidance when needed, followed by a brief debriefing.

For those who prefer exploring outdoors, The Key offers story-led adventures in Marburg’s city centre and the Old Botanical Garden. Options include The Alchemist’s Trail, a roughly three-hour tour for adults and young people aged 12 and above, and Aurora’s Magic Cube, a family-friendly experience lasting about two hours. Children aged 8 to 12 can take part in the approximately 2.5-hour pirate-themed adventure, Captain Silverbeard’s Treasure, which includes a wagon designed like a pirate ship and audio-story elements. The company says it developed and built its indoor rooms and selected outdoor games itself.
