With a background in art, design, and print-making, our Managing Director recognized the importance of high-quality paper and understood the needs of artists and art students. Our goal is to offer a wide range of choices to reflect an artist's personality, providing the best quality papers at affordable prices, all with a unique and quirky brand.

Our brand originated from a visit to the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, where a simple hand-drawn design was created for a print makers business card in 1982 - a Pig. Nick and our team still uphold the same vision after almost 30 years, continuously striving to deliver what we do best. Based in Yorkshire, Great Britain, all our handmade covers are crafted by us.

We take pride in using the finest acid-free paper sourced from FSC certified mills, ensuring sustainability and recyclability. Our products have a low carbon footprint, with 66% of our cardboard boxes being recycled and all Kraft boxes being 100% recyclable. Additionally, our shrink wrap is 100% recyclable, our Thai tissue paper is oxygen bleached for the environment, and our grey board covers are made from 100% recycled materials.
