The Well Seasoned Chef

The Well Seasoned Chef is a cooking school and culinary events business based at 45 New Hyde Park Road in Garden City, New York. Serving adults, teens, children, families, and community groups, it offers hands-on instruction designed to make cooking both enjoyable and educational. Classes include adult culinary sessions, Junior Chef lessons for ages 8–13, high school cooking classes for ages 14–17, and baking and pastry courses for adults and children. The school also hosts themed cooking events, including Night Out classes and private culinary gatherings where groups prepare gourmet menus suited to the season.

For celebrations, The Well Seasoned Chef plans customized children’s birthday parties, helping families choose a theme and create a menu based on the birthday child’s favorite foods. Scout groups can take specialized classes that support culinary badge activities. Additional offerings include catering, event planning, gift cards, online ordering, baked goods, and fresh organic soups. Its café serves breakfast and other offerings on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
