The AA Directory is a free online resource that helps people find Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in their area or connect with one online. Its searchable listings cover more than 130,000 meetings across all 50 U.S. states and over 50 countries, with options to search by city, state, or ZIP code. Visitors can browse U.S., European, and international listings, explore meetings in major cities, and find online meetings available around the clock. Listings include local groups, meeting days, and times, and are sourced from official AA intergroups.

The directory also offers practical guidance for newcomers, including simple steps for attending a first meeting, explanations of common formats, and information about sponsorship and AA. Meeting types listed include open, closed, discussion, Big Book study, step, and speaker meetings. Additional resources describe the peer-led fellowship and the support members may find through regular attendance. The site is free to use and requires no sign-up. It also provides private sobriety, meeting, and reflection tools that keep data on the user’s device.
