The Abbey Estate

The Abbey Estate is a privately owned event venue in historic Waxahachie, Texas, set across five wooded acres. Recognized by voters in Ellis County and Arlington, it hosts weddings, corporate events, parties, reunions, and other celebrations. Rental pricing includes exclusive use of the property and many of the essentials for hosting an event, while clients may bring vendors of their choice.

The estate offers several distinct indoor and outdoor spaces. The Modern Farmhouse features a glass-filled atrium, fireplace, bar, back porch, and private bridal suite. The Texas-inspired Party Barn includes a high ceiling, bar, outdoor deck, bonfire pit, gaming area, and upstairs grooms’ loft. For ceremonies and outdoor gatherings, guests can choose a lighted pergola and lawn, or a flagstone patio with a fountain and gazebo. These spaces accommodate occasions ranging from intimate ceremonies and rehearsal dinners to receptions, dining, dancing, awards events, and entertainment showcases. The Abbey Estate also offers tours and planning support to help clients prepare for their celebration.
