The Academy by Robert-Jan Derksen is a specialist golf coaching centre in Nunspeet, the Netherlands, focused on helping golfers improve their putting. Founded in 2011 by former professional golfer and Dubai Desert Classic winner Robert-Jan Derksen, in collaboration with English putting coach Paul Hurrion, the Academy combines coaching expertise with a data-led approach. Its indoor training centre features two putting greens and uses high-speed cameras, ball-roll computers and analysis software to reveal details of a player’s stroke that are difficult to see with the naked eye.

The Academy offers individual and group putting sessions, a Top Amateur Package, an Excellent Masterclass and coaching for competition teams. Its programmes are designed for golfers of different abilities, from recreational players to amateurs and professionals, and pair technical analysis with practical exercises tailored to each player. The goal is to build understanding, consistency and confidence on the greens. Located at Het Rijk van Nunspeet, The Academy also highlights putting’s importance to scoring and encourages golfers to make this often under-practised part of the game a focus of their development.
