About The Afara Initiative
The Afara Initiative is a social enterprise dedicated to developing future-fit graduates in Nigeria. Through partnerships with universities, government institutions, and corporations, they aim to unlock Nigeria's economic potential by 2060. Their programs prepare university students for impactful careers in the private, public, and social sectors by nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The Afara Initiative provides resources, support networks, and real-world professional experiences to bridge the gap between education and the world of work. Their flagship program, The Bridge, is a selective fellowship that identifies and develops change-makers across sectors. They also collaborate with higher education institutions through The Pathway program to ensure graduates are ready for existing and future job opportunities.
The Hub, their upcoming project, will serve as a center for entrepreneurial thinkers, researchers, and creators. With over 150 fellows and partnerships with 26 universities, The Afara Initiative is creating a global network of changemakers. Join their community and be part of Nigeria's transformation
