The Aluminum Forest

The Aluminum Forest is an enthusiast-focused reference resource celebrating the history, design, and cultural appeal of aluminum Christmas trees. Created for collectors worldwide, it brings together historical information, nostalgic imagery, and practical guidance about these distinctive holiday decorations. The site explores trees from numerous manufacturers, including Evergleam, Mirro, Peco, Star Band, and the Aluminum Tree Company, and provides catalog material and a snapshot gallery to help visitors investigate different models and makers.

Beyond the trees themselves, The Aluminum Forest covers related holiday products and accessories, such as color wheels, rotating stands, and other aluminum items associated with mid-century festive décor. Its practical sections address common challenges involving tree poles, branches, storage systems, and stands, alongside information about aluminum suppliers including Alcoa, Kaiser, and Reynolds. The site also features presentations, museum exhibits, press coverage, credits, and a bibliography, connecting collectors with broader historical context. With an inviting, playful tone, The Aluminum Forest serves as both a guide to collecting and a celebration of the aluminum Christmas tree universe.
