The Analog Chronicles

The Analog Chronicles is a Paris-based, biennial festival celebrating contemporary photography at the meeting point of analogue and digital practices. Rather than treating film photography as nostalgia, it encourages artists to experiment with traditional cameras and processes alongside digital techniques, creating work that reflects the present. The festival brings professionals, photographers and enthusiasts together through exhibitions, talks, practical workshops and community encounters.

Its Fall Edition takes place from 8 to 11 October 2026 at the Salon de la photo et de la vidéo in the Grande Halle de La Villette, Paris. The programme features 20 artists and collectives: ten invited participants and ten photographers selected through an open call. Visitors can explore their work and take part in free, registration-based workshops, with subjects including cyanotype, photowalks, live film development and stereoscopy. The festival also shares programme information, artist features and updates about future editions through its website and newsletter. The Analog Chronicles offers free invitations to the 2026 photography fair, helping visitors access its festival activities and exhibitions.
