About The Architects' Project
The Architects' Project is an autonomous initiative that collaborates with industry experts, academics, and the community to provide a wide range of activities and services. Our mission is to empower the built environment community to develop a better society. Through /tap, we explore architecture as a tool for development and promote context-specific architectural learning and practices.
Our focus is on 'bottom-up' approaches, encouraging critical thinking, critical writing, and the application of sustainable methods in the built environment. Currently, we consist of passionate individual volunteers who use our platform, tap:Exchange, to organize research and design-led programs and engage with the community through learning, events, live projects, and exhibitions. Our vision is to establish Ghana's first homegrown and independent architecture hub, created by and for the community.
