The Art Café is a creative space in Amsterdam where visitors can slow down, make art, and connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Guests can reserve a table for the Open Café and choose an activity from the art menu, with options that allow each person to explore a different interest. The café provides the materials, inspiration, and instructions, while participants create at their own pace during a two-hour session. These open sessions are self-guided, with staff available to offer help, and the team handles cleanup so guests can take their finished artwork home.

The Art Café also offers one-off workshops led by professional artists and makers. Each session explores a particular technique, material, or theme, with step-by-step guidance. For those seeking a longer learning experience, multi-week courses provide structured teaching, personal guidance, and opportunities to build skills and creative confidence. The café welcomes individuals and groups, and serves hot and cold drinks and snacks for purchase. It is open Wednesday through Sunday, and reservations are recommended.
