The Assembly Soup Kitchen (TASK) is an independent, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to serving the homeless and hungry in the Klang Valley. Started by a group of volunteers cooking in their own kitchens, TASK provides hot, nutritious meals to those in need, including Orang Asli, refugee, B40, and other underserved communities. In 2022, TASK distributed over 141,000 meals and RM 3,000,000 worth of food to various distribution centers. The organization partners with volunteers and food organizations to provide over 3000 meals weekly and supports community schools, girls' homes, and after-school programs with food programs.

TASK also runs initiatives like the Employment and Training Scheme for refugee moms and the TASK Angels program for teens with special needs. Additionally, the Assembly Learning Center provides education and life skills to refugee children. You can support TASK by volunteering, donating cash, goods, or spreading the word on social media.
