The Back 40 Acres, LLC is a small farm and online shop offering poultry products and handmade, repurposed goods. Its selection includes hatching eggs and day-old chicks, with listings featuring breeds such as Black Copper Marans and Olive hatching eggs, as well as a Rainbow Layer Chicks bundle. Customers can also shop beeswax wraps and beeswax bags, alongside practical items made by repurposing feed bags, including shopping bags, aprons, and Christmas stockings.

The farm describes itself as a small breeding operation and emphasizes that egg availability and shipping depend on its stock and the weather. Orders are shipped in the order they are received and paid, and hatching egg orders have minimums and limits that vary by breed. Customers are encouraged to read product listings and the shop’s policies before ordering. The Back 40 Acres also invites visitors to subscribe to email updates about new collections and offers. Its range brings together farm-raised poultry offerings and reusable or repurposed products for everyday use.
