The Betta Box

The Betta Box UK is a specialist ornamental fish importer and transhipping service based in Warrington, Cheshire. Established in 2014, the business was created to make importing aquarium fish into the UK safer, simpler and more reliable, building on more than four decades of experience in fish keeping and the aquatic industry. It does not sell fish directly: customers choose and purchase fish from their own supplier, while The Betta Box coordinates the shipment and UK import process.

The service connects customers with trusted exporter partners across Asia, with routes from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam. Other countries and species may be available by enquiry. Customers book an import by selecting details such as the country, bag size, species and quantity; their fish are then sent to a designated exporter partner. Shipments arrive through Manchester Airport, and customers can collect their fish in Warrington or choose UK delivery. The company serves hobbyists and trade customers, offering transhipping services and support with import arrangements.
