About Eden Project Communities
The Big Help Out is a UK-based initiative aimed at raising awareness of volunteering and providing opportunities for people to make a difference in their communities. Not driven by profit, this campaign, hosted by the /together initiative, aligns with Volunteers' Week and invites individuals and organizations to participate in mass volunteering events. Through the Big Help Out platform, accessible via web browser or mobile app, participants can recruit new volunteers and support important community missions.
Following this event is the Thank You Day, where gratitude is expressed to volunteers and local heroes. Both campaigns are backed by the /together coalition, dedicated to fostering kinder and more connected communities. By taking part in these initiatives, organizations can engage with volunteers, connect with communities, and show appreciation for those who contribute to making a positive impact.
