About Black Girl’s Dream Initiative
The Black Girl's Dream Initiative (BGDI) is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting quality education, bridging the gender gap, and challenging the patriarchy. We believe in the power of Art, Advocacy, Research, Technology, and Sports as tools for societal development, specifically for women and girls. Through the media, we advocate for gender equality and amplify success stories that often go unheard.
Our mission is to empower women and girls to become influential leaders and decision-makers, while also transforming the mindset of boys and men to create a shared and inclusive society. Our vision is to be a leading organization in the development of teenage girls and boys, driving a much-needed global revolution. With a strong commitment to innovation, accountability, leadership, collaboration, and kindness, we work together to deliver the best results in all our endeavors.
