Our Beliefs What we believe More Info Our Team Meet our team More Info Our Vision Serving our community and growing together More Info What we believe Read You are welcome toSundays at The Bridge Sunday’s begin with tea and coffee being served from 9:30m, in the connect area, with the service starting at 10am.We have contemporary praise and worship led by our worship team, followed by a time of Biblical teaching from our Pastor Martin Coleman and leaders at The Bridge Church.We are a multi-generational church, providing a space for parents and pre-schoolers and dedicated groups for school aged children. What’s the service like? We have contemporary praise and worship led by our worship team and a time of Biblical teaching. We love God, encouraging one another and being inspired. Our services reflect this. How long will the service last? Services last approx. 1.5 hours. We start at 10.00am and finish around 11.15/30am. We serve tea and coffee before the service and after the service, so plenty of time to chat. What happens when I arrive? You will be greeted at the door by our friendly Welcome Team, who will show you where everything is, register any children you may have with you and get you a drink.They can show you to seat (we don’t have reserved seating, so sit where you feel most comfy) and introduce to you people, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. What time shall I arrive? The morning service starts at 10.00am, with tea and coffee served from 9.30am, so arrive anytime between then. There will always be a welcome team member on duty, if you are running late, so don’t worry. What’s the dress code? There is no dress code. Casual or smart, it’s up to you. Is there parking? Yes plenty! We have a large car park right outside the building, which includes some accessible spaces. Is there disabled access to the church? Yes – there are no steps into the building, wide doors and wheelchairs can be accommodated in the main auditorium. We also have an accessible toilet. What about my children? We provide 3 groups for your children/young people, all of which are run by a wonderful DBS checked and Safeguarding trained team. The children’s and youth work takes place in Unit 2, which is across the car park from the main building. When you arrive at the main church a member of the welcome team will get your child signed up for their relevant group and lead you through the process for the morning. Bridge Tots is our pre-school group for ages 2.5 to 4 years old. These little ones meet 3 weeks out of 4, alongside the Bridge Kids team. Bridge Kids is for children in reception up to year 5, and runs 3 weeks out of 4 along with Bridge Tots.The children in both of these groups will be learning all about God’s love for them through Bible stories, crafts, play and games. Relentless is our group for those in year 6 up to year 10. This group meet on alternate weeks. The young people in this group are encouraged to build their faith and draw closer to God through chats, media clips and games. We also have a designated room in the main church building for parents to sit in with their babies and toddlers, with a window into the main auditorium and a sound system so that the service can be accessed. Do I need to bring any money? Visitors are our guests so there’s no obligation to give anything.However, generosity is a big part of the kind of people we want to be, and so each week there will be a time during the singing when regular attenders are invited to bring their monetary gifts to the front while we sing. Money that is given is used to help us continue to function as a church, serve our local community, as well as support various projects that serve the poor and needy across our world. Bridge Kids Preacher If you have a child in reception class to year 5, then Bridge Kids is your group! More Info Relentless Preacher Is for our young people in school years 6 – 10. More Info Unite Preacher Meeting on the second Sunday evening of the month, from 6:30-8pm in Unit 2, Unite is for all young people in school year 11 up to age 19. Running 3 weeks out of 4, alongside the weeks that Bridge Kids run, this group will meet in Unit 2 and is led by a fantastic team of fully trained and DBS checked volunteers. The children will be learning all about God’s love for them through Bible stories, crafts and play. Children do need to be signed up for this group, and so if you are new to The Bridge church, then the Welcome Team will talk you through that process.
