About The Broken Spine
The Broken Spine is a poetry and arts collective based in North-West England. Founded in 2019 by Alan Parry and Paul Robert Mullen, two longtime school friends who rediscovered each other through their shared passion for poetry. This brand is dedicated to showcasing the creative talents of a diverse range of artists, from unpublished talents to well-established names.
The Broken Spine provides a safe and inclusive space for artists and readers alike, promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality. They actively encourage submissions from individuals of all backgrounds and identities, including international artists, those from minority communities, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals with disabilities. While they are unable to offer monetary compensation at this time, all accepted contributors will receive a print copy of The Broken Spine Artist Collective.
