About Brooke Hospital for Animals
Brooke Hospital for Animals (BHA) is a dedicated organization working to provide sustainable improvement in the lives of working equines. Established in 1883, BHA has a rich history of compassion and care for animals. Their mission is to alleviate the suffering of working equines and empower their owners to improve their economic status within their local communities.
BHA offers a range of services, including mobile clinics, animal welfare initiatives, and educational programs such as the Animal Welfare Curriculum. They work collaboratively with other organizations, such as Masr Bokra Development, to raise awareness and provide training programs for children who use donkeys. BHA also participates in various events and celebrations, promoting the welfare of animals across Egypt.
Joining BHA as a member, donor, or volunteer enables individuals to contribute to their noble cause and make a positive impact on animal welfare
