About The BSD Academy
The BSD Academy is a tech academy with a mission to accelerate the growth of tech talent in Africa. They offer free accelerated and immersive courses, aiming to provide a high-quality education to individuals who are trying to excel in the tech industry on their own. Believing that education should be free, accessible, and world-class, the academy provides a free curriculum and links to additional free resources for anyone to use globally.
The academy's curriculum currently focuses on Software Development, Machine Learning, and Blockchain Technology. Founded in 2017 by Shehu Tyson Lawal and co-founded by Eyitayo Alimi, the academy combines online curriculum with offline learning sessions to provide learners with a direct approach to their trainers and the curriculum. Many learners have been hired as developers, while countless others have gained enough programming knowledge to work on personal projects.
