Thecacti

The Cacti World is a Czech-language website devoted to cacti and succulent plants, bringing together reference material, photographs, cultivation guidance, and resources for enthusiasts. Its planned “Lexicon and Photos” section covers plant genera and species, with information on their classification and systematics, alongside articles about growing succulents and related practical topics. The site also aims to provide advice on cultivation and grafting, and its overview mentions the sale of seeds.

A catalog and plant collection section complement the educational content. Visitors can explore information about authors, relevant literature and publications, as well as study and collection numbers and acronyms used by people working with succulent plants. One featured plant profile is Melocactus peruvianus, with additional treatments of cacti and succulents intended to be added over time.

The website also offers selected links, background about the project and its contributors, and contact information. Presented as a developing resource, The Cacti World is designed to help readers learn about, identify, and care for cacti and other succulents
