About The Calmness Crew
The Calmness Crew creates plush toys and wellbeing resources designed to help children feel calmer, safer and more confident. Founded by Frances Williams, inspired by her experience supporting her child’s anxiety, the brand pairs comforting soft toys with voice-guided calming techniques. Its talking plushies use a rechargeable audio device that children activate with a button, providing gentle prompts for box breathing, grounding or positive affirmations. The range includes portable and weighted plushies, with characters such as a sloth, koala and turtle, as well as Calm Cubes, accessories, books and animations.
Designed to support children experiencing anxiety, worry, panic, fear or grief, the products can be used at home, school, while travelling or during counselling and therapy sessions. Plushies can be personalised with Velcro emoji badges, and each includes a card for a name, a note about what brings joy and a positive affirmation. The Calmness Crew also offers animated videos and other resources to extend the experience.
