Camping Equipment Co

The Camping Equipment Company is an online retailer specializing in family camping tents and outdoor shelter products. Its range includes the Como eight-person tunnel tent, the Vega six-person dome tent, and the Mars six-person family tent, which the company identifies as a premium-grade option. The tents are designed primarily for summer and moderate conditions rather than extreme weather, and the company cautions that they are not guaranteed for gale-force winds or hurricane-like conditions.

Features across the models include waterproof, seam-taped rain flies, mesh ventilation to help limit condensation and keep insects out, and separate sleeping areas with spacious living areas. Depending on the model, tents also offer removable or configurable rooms, waterproof floors, reflective guy ropes, sturdy stakes, and color-coded or reinforced poles to support setup and stability. The company provides product information and answers customer questions through its online store and customer support. Its published guidance recommends considering the Mars tent for customers expecting heavy rain, while emphasizing that its tents are intended for family camping in summer conditions.
