The Chapters Therapy Services Ltd is a children’s therapy practice founded by Di Hoyer, a Lincolnshire-based therapist with more than 30 years of experience in trauma recovery. The service helps children navigate difficult experiences and supports the parents, carers and professionals around them. Its approach draws on child development, attachment, Transactional Analysis, play therapy, body-based psychotherapy and other therapeutic models.
Children can access individual and group play therapy, using play and storytelling to explore thoughts, emotions, sensations, perception and movement. The aim is to help them make sense of their experiences, feel safer and develop strategies for everyday life, growth and resilience. The Chapters also recognises the importance of supporting children within their family systems, offering parents and carers individual support and practical strategies for healthier interactions at home.
For professionals, Di provides consultation and training to build understanding of trauma and development and strengthen support for children and families.
