The Chat Room

The Chat Room Allied Health is a Bankstown- and Auburn-based provider serving children, adolescents and adults in New South Wales and surrounding areas. Established to help people reach their full communicative potential, the practice uses a person-centred approach, adapting its services to each client’s needs and supporting communication confidence and quality of life.

Its services include speech pathology, counselling and physiotherapy. Speech pathology supports understanding spoken and written information, following directions and answering questions. Physiotherapy takes a holistic approach to restoring movement and function affected by injury, illness or disability, and may help reduce future risks. Counselling offers individuals, couples and groups a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours and work through personal challenges.

The Chat Room’s therapists have experience supporting people with a range of disabilities and conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, global developmental delay, ADHD, stroke and brain injuries.
